Wife Polly to have 1/3 of land where I now live and proceeds that may remain at my decease of the sale of a family of negroes which myself and her sold to ARMSTRONG and McGEE except so much of the proceeds as I have and may settle with her children in my lifetime of which I have already settled the following named children: Thomas S. GREER,
John and Martha DUNLAP, James S. GREER. At wife's death property sold and equally divided among my 4 sons: John M. GREER, Benjamin GREER, Nimrod J. GREER, and Robert S. GREER, or their children.
I give to son David 100 acres of land and negro woman Sabra.
To son John M. 146 1/2 acres and negro man Billy, boy Penn and girl Doshey.
To son John M. in trust for my son Benjamin, 150 acres joining James ARMSTRONG and David GREER, Jr.
To son Thomas S. 200 acres on Hencoop Creek.
To daughter Polly GREER 50 acres which she has received and sold to Dr. John WILSON.
To daughter Eliza LEE and her children negro girl Ann.
To daughter Eleanor COBB, $20.00.
To son James S. GREER $300.00.
The remaining part of property at my decease to be sold and after debts paid and above specified amounts which I give to my son Thos. S. GREER, Eleanor COBB and the children of Jane LEE dec'd then my wife Polly to have 1/3 and the balance equally divided between my sons John M. GREER, Robt. S. GREER, Benj. GREER and my daughters Eliza LEE and Martha DUNLAP or their children. Executors: Son John M. GREER and friend Wm. P. MARTIN. Dated 13 Feb. 1852.
